Definition – Premature ejaculation mean emission or ejaculation of semen occur within 1 minute of intercourse it’s called as premature ejaculation.It is most common sexual health problem in male. It estimates that 1 out of 3 male experience premature ejaculation at sometime.There are two types of premature ejaculation a) Primary Premature ejaculation – Most of the time it is lifelong premature ejaculation happen. b) Secondary it develops after sometime.
Causes of Premature Ejaculation –
- Psychological Cause - – it can be due to anxiety. It can develop when male doing sexual intercourse with new female. It happened due to high excitation of sex.
- Biological Causes – Premature ejaculation after research it shows that decrease serotonin level in the brain leads to premature ejaculation
Diagnosis or Investigation –
- Detail history require from couple
- Physical examination like blood pressure ECG require
- Sexual hormonal study or test require
- Psychometric test for psychological causes
- Routine blood test of sugar lipid profile etc.of premature
Ejaculation Treatment –
- Behaviour Therapy and counselling for couple
- Stop and Start technique
- Squeeze technique
- Using condom to minimise the premature ejaculation
- Medical management SSRI medicines or PDE 5 inhibitor medicines
