Learning Problems
In this some brain conditions causes difficulties in comprehensive or processing information.
The Math’s /person may have trouble with:
- Reading
- Writing
- Doping Maths / Calculation difficulty
- Understanding direction
There are three features in learning disability.
- Dyslexia: In this the process of language and it can make reading and writing very difficult for the child.
- Dysgraphia: In which child/person writing ability gets affected. It can be seen with features like –
Bad Handwriting
Trouble with spelling
Difficulty putting thoughts in written form - Dyscalculia: In this the child’s/person’s ability to comprehend mathematics gets affected. Child/person gets trouble with basic mathematical sums.
Auditory Processing Disorder:
- It is not cause due to hearing impairment but problem with processing of sound in the brain.
Child/person may have trouble with:
- Learning to read
- Distinguishing sounds from background noise
- Following spoken directions
- Remembering things, they have heard
- Telling the difference between similar sounding words
Visual Processing Disorder:
- It is not caused due to vision problem rather it is related to vision processing of brain. Child/person may have difficulty with reading or telling the difference between two objects.
