Definition – Premature ejaculation mean emission or ejaculation of semen occur within 1 minute of intercourse it’s called as premature ejaculation.

It is most common sexual health problem in male. It estimates that 1 out of 3 male experience premature ejaculation at sometime.

There are two types of premature ejaculation

a) Primary Premature ejaculation – Most of the time it is lifelong premature ejaculation happen

b) Secondary it develops after sometime

Causes of Premature Ejaculation –

1. Psychological Cause – it can be due to anxiety. It can develop when male doing sexual intercourse with new female. It happened due to high excitation of sex.
2. Biological Causes –  Premature ejaculation after research it shows that decrease serotonin level in the brain leads to premature ejaculation
3. Diagnosis or Investigation –
   a) Detail history require from couple
   b) Physical examination like blood pressure ECG require
   c) Sexual hormonal study or test require
   d) Psychometric test for psychological causes
   e) Routine blood test of sugar lipid profile etc.of premature
4. Ejaculation Treatment –
   a) Behaviour Therapy and counselling for couple
   b) Stop and Start technique
   c) Squeeze technique
   d) Using condom to minimise the premature ejaculation e) Medical management SSRI medicines or PDE 5 inhibitor medicines and anaesthetic medicines.
